Darjeeling, Riders Revenge and Layasar are three against the field in this novices hurdle and the tentative vote goes to Riders Revenge. The selection was a fair third behind Perfect Liaison last time out. He is sure to have strengthened up through the summer and he need only run up to that mark to score. Darjeeling rates the main danger on his latest second behind Monticelli. However he looked far from straight forward on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Layasar is another that could go well he has shown a modicum of ability in bumpers and is worth noting in the market but he has given the impression he would be seen to better effect over a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Big Bone(also entered at Taunton) won well last time out when defeating Raven's Last in a bumper but he will find this harder against some more experienced rivals over hurdles. Of the remainder One Cornetto is another to have shown ability in bumpers but he was doing all his best work at the finish last time and he is another that would be suited by a longer trip. This is a very competitive affair and the market could well tell all but for the winner we return to Riders Revenge.
