Kibara can break his maiden tag at the third time of asking at the expense of Longhill Tiger and Roya. The selection has performed well on both his starts to date and was most recently second behind Zero at Warwick last time out. That was an improved effort and with more improvement still likely to come he is worth siding with this time around. Longhill Tiger caught the eye on his racecourse debut when finishing second of seven at Pontefract. He was beaten five lengths that day so he was not entirely convincing but with experience now on his side he could pose a threat to the selection. Roya is the most exposed of the field and has had plenty of chances but connections must feel confident of his ability to win in maiden company rather than going down the handicap route so he is again worth noting. But for the winner we return to Kibara.
