Verdict

A competitive contest rounds off the card and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Sylva Royal, Blake Hall Lad and Best Desert and we will take a chance on Blake Hall Lad. The selection won well last time out when defeating Graceful Air granted this looks much more competitive but he has conditions to suit and will be hard to beat. Sylva Royal rates the main danger on her latest fourth behind Clare Galway. She will prefer this surface and has definite place claims Best Desert is another worthy of respect he was a fair third behind Irusan last time and despite top weight he is another that will not be far away.Antigua Bay was a fair fourth behind Star Pupil last time but he has had plenty of chances in similar events without taking one and for that reason he is opposed. This is a very trappy race that throws up more questions than answers and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Blake Hall Lad,.
