Some old regulars on parade here, but preference is given to Sharp Needle, who edges a narrow verdict over Analyze and Franksalot on the grounds that Jeremy Noseda's charge is open to more improvement. Others to keep an eye on include: Electrique, who got no sort of run at a crucial time last time out, but still did well to only finish around four lengths behind Analyze at the line. Jamie Osborne has always thought a lot about the four-year-old and he could represent great value for at least a place this afternoon. Analyze is effective at this level and should also be on the premises again, while Greenwood also has to come into the reckoning if the best of his efforts are taken into account. However, his trainer seems to be doing better out of punditry than actual racing at the moment and, as the six-year-old has been out of action since May, others make more appeal on the grounds of fitness. Sharp Needle being one of those, as he almost certainly needed the outing when finishing fourth in a better race than this at Thirsk last month. Noseda's charge had previously been most progressive and, now that she has got the benefit if a recent run behind her, she can get back on the right track today.
