A weak maiden starts the card, with Paparaazi, Just Cliff and Bird Over the three that catch the eye, the last named is taken to land the spoils. This daughter of Bold Edge belied odds of 40/1 when finishing a close up fourth behind Elrafa Mujahid and with the Beckett juveniles often improving for their first outing she looks the one to be on today. Paparaazi is trained by Richard Fahey, and although no world beater, comes into the argument on his fifth to subsequent nursery winner King's Account. Just Cliff is steadily getting the hang of things and put up a decent effort when fourth behind Moon Forest at Warwick last time, and should be contesting the closing stages. Love Attack and Gifted Lass will not have to improve much to figure her, but Bird Over has shown enough already to warrant the decision.
