Verdict

Right Stuff scored over 2m at Kempton last time and this is tougher dropping back in trip off a 6lb higher mark. English Summer hasn't progressed since landing a handicap at Chester last May, while Smokey Oakey and O Ma Lad recorded last year's victories in hurdle and maiden company respectively. Viking Storm is fairly weighted if ready on his reappearance, but this should go to LAYLINE, who need only repeat his latest effort at Wolverhampton when second to the progressive William Haigh, to get his head back in front.
