Black Spirit looks excellent each-way value as, strictly on the book, he should finish somewhere near the well-backed Cai Shen on September's form at Doncaster. The latter looks to have solid claims and his stable won this in 2009 with Scintillo, who beat PREMIO LOCO by a nose on that occasion. Chris Wall's charge has won five times over shorter trips in Group company since then and has the class to land this if anywhere near his best. A couple of mares also have a shout as Myplacelater has the form to get involved despite not winning last year and she's proven over the trip, unlike Sooraah, who was winning over a mile on the Tapeta surface at Meydan last month. The irrepressible Suits Me is a regular in this event but could only manage fourth last year, while Junoob continued his good progress with victory in a Listed event over C&D last time and could be thereabouts.
