LOCH ARD, who showed promise for David Wachman on the Flat, was thought good enough to make his hurdling debut in a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse a month ago and though no match for Burrenbridge Lodge he ran well enough to suggest he should make a smart performer and should have few problems taking this. Railway Vic has been finding longer trips beyond him though he hasn't really progressed since initial promise and winning point-to-pointer Beachdale Lad hasn't done much in bumpers though should be better suited by jumping obstacles. Lucky Pigeon landed a point at Horse & Jockey a couple of weeks ago and is young enough to make further progress.
