Are Ya Right Chief has proved expensive to follow over timber but had excuses for his defeat at Clonmel last month as he was found to have a virus post-race. His earlier short-head defeat by Golanbrook on this course gives him an obvious chance if back to his best but ITS THE ICE I LIKE gets the vote. Robert Tyner's charge won a Clonmel bumper before embarking on a career over hurdles and he's done well. His latest narrow defeat by Double Double is good form and he'll appreciate today's longer trip. Shannon Spirit was a long way behind in that latter event but Inish Island also won a bumper at Clonmel and has shown enough ability in three starts over timber to suggest he will be winning soon.
