In the finale, Lopinot is selected ahead of San Antonio and Quai de Roi. Lopinot comes here on the up, as evidenced by his recent course and distance win, and, with a six-pounds rise for that looking fair enough, he could well prove the pick of these today. San Antonio has proven in the past that he can run well from higher marks than he races from today, so it would not entirely be a surprise if he was to run well dropping back in trip today from his last start. Katiypour has recent course and distance placed efforts from slightly higher marks than today to his name but has a wide draw to contend with. Money for the Irish import Quai de Roi could be interesting, while Bold Diktator has risen to a career-high mark courtesy of three wins on the bounce prior to his latest run. He could still go well, though. With the three at the top of the weights, plus Clive Brittain's Fann, all lacking a recent run, we return to the selection, which is Lopinot.
