        Verdict

        A horrid race for punters and ELSIE JO is our call with Sarasota Sunshine and Miss Mojito others to make the shortlist. The selection was heavily punted last time out before finding one too good. She had reportedly shown plenty at home and off a winnable mark, we take her to glean compensation. Sarasota Sunshine makes a handicap debut. Her final start at Nottingham suggested that she is of interest now pitched into handicaps. Miss Mojito put up a decent performance behind Alexander Family at Wolverhampton and the form was given a boost by the third at Kempton. River Rye could prove a tonic to the indisposed Stan Moore. His recent fourth in a seller wasn't a completely hopeless effort. Lend A Light takes a welcome drop in trip having raced over nine furlongs in the past. Plenty of imponderables among this modest bunch and Elsie Jo gets our vote.
