made all, ridden 2f out, driven and all out final furlong
keen, tracked leaders, ridden 2f out, effort entering final furlong, no extra towards finish
tracked winner, ridden half way, every chance from over 1f out, unable to quicken inside final furlong, lost 2nd towards finish
held up in last place but not far away, improved approaching final furlong, kept on to take 2nd near finish
WOTASHIRTFULL is taken to land this at the main expense of Chjimes and Resplendent Alpha. The selection was only narrowly beaten at Southwell last time he finished second to Xpres Maite. He proved that this trip was within his grasp that day and he looks capable of taking his chance. Chjimes does boast course and distance winning form , in fact he has won here five times so he is something of a course specialist. He beat Whiskey Creek over 5f last time but he is just as effective over this trip and he should run our selection close. Resplendent Alpha disappointed last time and he looks as though the handicapper may now have his measure. Grand Palace is from a yard in good form and he can't be discounted, but in a tight contest we will give the narrow vote to Wotashirtful.
