    Verdict

    SONG OF SONGS can utilise his class to account for Double The Trouble and Iffy. There is simply no getting away from the fact that his debut over chase fences was a disappointment but with better ground obtaining, it is to be hoped that James Fanshawe¿s gelding will be able to set the record straight this afternoon. Double The Trouble progressed from being a moderate hurdler to a horse well into three figures. He too has a disappointing run to put behind him over the bigger obstacles. Iffy could be the likely pacesetter. His fencing is far from foot perfect but Richard Lee's runners are going well so it would be folly to discount him. Midnight Diamond ordinarily races prominently but the official figures suggest he will have to find plenty to trouble the judge. Guns Of Love needs the other four to encounter plenty of mishaps in order to land this. Song Of Songs is likely to be a warm order for this race and is entitled to be so if translating hurdling form.
