A low grade though competitive event in which plenty have chances but DILLAY BROOK is the selection with Syncopated Rhythm and Mr Big the others for the shortlist. Dillay Brook has proved a disappointment over slightly further but she does have a high cruising speed and over a slightly shorter trip, she can give us a good run for our money. Nigel Twiston-Davies' yard are coming back into a modicum of form so don't rule out Syncopated Rhythm, who has won races when others in the yard have clearly not. Mr Big's participation in the military race at Sandown seemed rather hopeful on balance. Against a very well handicapped winner, he arguably ran as well as could be expected. Junctiontwentyfour is a resolute sort though may be more suited to taking on better opposition off a light weight. Sharp Belline had bits and pieces of form for Sue Smith. Paul Midgeley attempts to freshen up the veteran performer. Oliver Sherwood had a double on Sunday so watch out for any market confidence behind Brumous. Towcester specialist Jacarado has obvious place claims on some of his earlier visits to this course and he did finish ahead of Extra Bold when the pair met in Towcester. Ravenscar is rated significantly less over chase fences than hurdles but there are reasons for it. Ballyvaden looks best of the rest. Dillay Brook is recommended accordingly.
