Verdict

JAUNTY FLIGHT is our selection in a fascinating event with Lightning Strike and Rightway Star making a degree of appeal. Oliver Sherwood's charge was particularly well thought of earlier in the season and it appears that ambitions of festival glory have somewhat gone on the back burner. Nevertheless, the valuable claim of leading amateur pilot, Ollie Greenall puts the filly in off a very tempting racing weight and we take her to bounce back. Lightning Strike did not jump with any measure of fluency at Kempton last time out and even though his yard are in form, the penalties accrued for earlier glories will make life far from plain sailing. Rightway Star should have few issues in regard to stamina issues but he was sensationally outclassed at Cheltenham behind What A Friend. Backbord represents a trainer that had a winner yesterday. He hasn't necessarily been at his best this term but it is folly to rule out anything from a yard in form. The remainder look to have tough call on balance. Jaunty Flight can glean compensation here.
