This is decidedly trappy but perhaps MONASHEE ROCK can score on her return from Castleburg and Roshina. Matthew Salaman's runner has been off since December when she showed solid form in some decent claiming and selling events before a decent fourth back in handicap company. She returns from that break off a pound lower mark and seven furlongs appeals as her ideal trip, so the mare merits respect in what is a poor race and gets our vote. Castleburg remains capable of better from this mark of 60 after disappointing last time. Strictly speaking Gary Moore's animal is held by Bold Rose on that run but our feeling is that form will be reversed in style and this daughter of Johannesburg needs a market check. Roshina ran well enough in a maiden over a mile last time and the winner has gone on to score in a handicap off 77, so a mark of 65 should give the filly excellent claims in this contest. This trip is a bare minimum for Jewelled so of more interest is Lady Kent who was a tad unfortunate when last tried over this trip and looks worth another chance to prove she's got the speed for it. Goodbye Cash is only 3lbs higher than when winning a handicap over a mile back in December but she's proved she can win over seven and could go well at a price, but our idea of the winner is Monashee Rock.
