YEMENI PRINCESS has already tasted success on the Polytrack in a bumper here earlier in the month, and that will stand her in good stead, and market support would further encourage us, but we'll also include Cashpoint and Gordon Road. Brendan Powell's runner was a big priced winner on debut in a meeting here purely of bumpers, and now steps down in trip by half a mile. All of these have run before, mainly in jumps races or bumpers, but none look to be that special. Gordon Road was narrowly beaten into third here last week on debut over slightly further, so the small drop in trip could be a positive. Cashpoint won a turf bumper here in November, and has subsequently been placed twice, including in a flat maiden over course and distance. Prince Pippin's an interesting looking runner; the only interest on the card for trainer or jockey, he's won over hurdles after being poor on debut in his one flat race. Any support might be a clue as to confidence behind him, but in a trappy opener, we'll side with joint bottom-weight, Yemeni Princess.
