The short-list comprises Cool Sands, Seneschal and Samuel Charles with a chance taken on the veteran performer. He ran better than his finishing position suggests in first time blinkers on his latest start as he was repeatedly blocked when looking for room and was beaten under 2 lengths at the line. He will need the gaps to appear at the right time this afteroon but has every chance if they do open up. Seneschal has decent claims despite his penalty whilst Cool Sands has finished close up on both starts since the turn of the year and is likely to do so again. Gimme Some Lovin is well worth another try at this trip, Hollow Jo has the form in the book as does King After but in a typically competitive contest a chance is taken with Samuel Charles.
