In depth

Verdict

Sweet Kiss sets the standard and appears to have been found a decent opportunity to break her duck. Support for one of the newcomers would be of interest but Kingsgate Castle could emerge as the biggest threat with Jalons Bridewell best of the remainder. Sweet Kiss attracted support in a Group 2 on her second outing having finished third behind the talented Laureldean Gale on debut but never threatened to land a blow and she again failed to build on her debut promise in a Nottingham maiden last time. She has been given plenty of time, should handle this surface and is hard to oppose here. Kingsgate Castle is progressing steadily and could make his presence felt whilst Jalons Bridewell also showed improved form from his debut last time and could take another step forwards. However, the selection will need to underperform if they're to land the spoils and Sweet Kiss should be good enough.
