        Verdict

        LOVE IN THE PARK, Daring Racer and Ruwain are the three against the field in a wide open affair, with Love in the Park taken to go one better than a good second last time. Daring Racer is still a maiden after 22 starts, but ran as well as he ever has last time, finishing a close fourth in a Brighton handicap. He can go well, but it says a lot about the quality of this contest that he carries top weight. Ruwain is a more consistent type and was beaten less than three lengths here last time. He has won twice, both all-weather wins, and he is likely to be thereabouts. Love in the Park is much less exposed than her rivals, and is left on the same handicap mark after a sound second last time. She was a little outpaced in the closing stages on that occasion, and Love in the Park can make the most of the extra two furlongs.
