Verdict
MAKHAALEB looks like the most likely winner here, ahead of Light Dubai and Fromthebeginning. The selection had the blinkers fitted for his first start on the all weather last time out and put in his best performance of his four career races to date. The three-year-old is improving in every race, and if he continues this way he looks capable of great things. Mick Channon's Light Dubai made his career debut at Newmarket last time out. The gelding was well backed and did his best work in the closing stage and should be better for the experience. Fromthebeginning still has some learning to do. The three-year-old colt was beaten favourite last time out, he stayed on well into the straight after being switched towards the inside. If he is handled in a similar fashion here it could pay off. Of the rest Debussy takes the eye after doing well on his debut at Wolverhampton, but for the winner it is to Makhaaleb that we turn.
