Angelo's Pride gets the nod over Indian Blaze, with Senor Eduardo and Pearson Glen others worth noting. Angelo's Pride has improved steadily of late, having finished third, running on, behind Iftikhar at Wolverhampton a week ago. Jamie Osborne's four-year-old is well drawn in stall two and has the assistance of Eddie Ahern as he bids to make his first visit to Lingfield a winning one. Pearson Glen finished a place ahead of the selection last time but the weights now favour Angelo's Pride, albeit only marginally. Indian Blaze has already been successful here in the past and should prove troublesome in receipt of weight from the selection. However, the veteran is fully exposed and is passed over along with Senor Eduardo whose fourth in Banded company here on his first try on the Polytrack does not look good enough. All in all, this is an uninspiring finale in which the weights favour Angelo's Pride.
