Bateleur ran better in a handicap at Nottingham earlier this month when chasing home Misplaced Fortune and Mick Channon's gelding has claims back on the Polytrack in this grade but he has a bit to find to get the better of SWINBROOK, who is preferred to One More Round. The David Evans-trained gelding ran below par in a handicap at Wolverhampton last month but earlier form in sellers is decent and, back in this grade, the 11-year-old has to be respected. Joss Stick is capable and has been running creditably well of late so he has to be considered, while Alan McCabe's Loose Caboose has claims on the pick of his form but has not been running up to that of late. Fyodor is not as good as he once was but has every chance judged by official BHA ratings and he cannot be discounted but preference is for Swinbrook. Richard Fahey's gelding has been running consistently well in handicaps and sellers of late and he has solid claims of winning again.
