BRAMALEA is closely matched with Mick's Dancer on their running behind Pelham Crescent at Bath earlier this month but a 3lb pull for a length should see him reverse the form and he gets the vote to gain a deserved success, with the main danger rated as Run For Ede's. The last mentioned belied odds of 40/1 when landing a Windsor handicap last month and he has every chance of defying the 4lb rise in the weights for that success if he can reproduce a similar level of form. Peter Winkworth's Colour Trooper won his maiden on the Polytrack here in September and ran better in a handicap at Bath last month, form on which he has to be considered. He is closely matched with Classical Rhythm on running last time but Jim Boyle's gelding is more exposed than most of these. Pab Special has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for his recent wins on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton and he looks best watched on turf following a disappointing effort at Brighton last time. The vote then goes to Bramalea, who has been running well without success of late and he is taken to gain a deserved success.
