Ballymacduff has run creditably in both starts in bumpers and has to be considered on his debut over timber but he will need to improve on what he has shown to trouble CATCH BOB, who is taken to defy his penalty and has most to fear from Seven Is Lucky. Peter Monteith's gelding made a pleasing reappearance at Perth last month but again was doing his best work late on in the race and he may not appreciate the drop back in trip today so may have to settle for minor honours. Rose Dobbin's Mountskip was well held on his debut in a bumper here but may do better first time up over hurdles. Any Given Day showed a decent level of form when with David Simcock on the level and he could be of interest on his debut over hurdles for Don McCain but he has been off since September and may be best watched in a race taken to go to Catch Bob. A winner of a point-to-point in Ireland, the son of Bob Back showed promise in bumpers before opening his account over timber in good fashion here last month. Ferdy Murphy's gelding is taken to defy the penalty for that success.
