        Verdict

        ORDINAL carries 6lb extra for his recent win at Wolverhampton but will no doubt be raised more than that in the future having dotted up by seven lengths - he can go in again. Cadland Lad went close over 7f at Chelmsford in November and Intimately was second over the same distance here three weeks ago. Lady Lloyd had been thereabouts on the all-weather before running a shocker when well behind third-placed Matilda Gleam. Evening Starlight scored over track and trip in February but has failed to figure subsequently after a hike in the weights.
