Siena Star is fancied to round of the meeting on a high for Stef Liddiard, while Three Boars and Ciccone will not make it easy for the selection if they run to the best of their abilities. Ciccone tries this trip for the first time after falling just short of the mark over a mile and a half last time. She has the right profile for a small prize like this and, although her yard are struggling for winners just now, she is very much respected. The same comment applies to the in-form Three Boars, who has won his last two starts in good style. He has gone up 9lb for those successes and now needs to post a career best effort. Therefore, we prefer to take a chance with Siena Star, who is potentially well treated on the best of his previous form. His recent return to the Liddiard fold has seen an upturn in his form and, in a race that lacks too much strength in depth, the top weight can be fancied to be hard to beat in the finale.
