Corlough Mountain is selected ahead of Savious Sand and Spring Glory, While well-bred newcomer Man Of Vision is also worth noting in the betting. The last named is likely to be better for the experience though and may be best watched on this occasion. Spring Glory represents a top yard and is respected accordingly. However, Sir Mark Prescott has only reaped a modest haul from with his juveniles this year and this daughter of Dr Fong may just need more time. Savious Sand made a very pleasing debut here 18 days ago and, despite signs of greenness, he should be capable of making this a good test if he learned anything from his introduction. Strong market support would again be significant at this level. Even so, we prefer to go with Corlough Mountain, whose two previous runs have created a favourable impression and this brother to the useful Smooch sets the standard today.
