Quite a competitive claimer and ALFIE TUPPER is our narrow preference to Dichoh and Cupid's Glory. Jim Boyle's charge seems to have placepot banker material written all over him though winning has proved a problem. He does have a little to find at these weights though on the positive, course and distance suits. Dichoh is capable though with quirks. Better known as a miler, he has it to prove over today's trip. Cupid's Glory could be the more pertinent danger. He lost his way quite badly having graded in at marks in the 80's. Ryan Moore rides and were he able to reproduce his Kempton run, he would have to rate as a major player. Pyrus Time drops back in grade having taken a maiden over course-and-distance before not disgracing himself in a handicap. Strong Storm hasn't quite stayed 1m4f on his two recent attempts so it is to be hoped that this sometime hurdler has no issues with the drop in trip this afternoon. A number come here with very plausible chances but for the winner, we return to Alfie Tupper.
