        Verdict

        Watchful, a winner on his debut in a Goodwood maiden, has run well twice since then in handicaps at Windsor and Newmarket and Luca Cumani's filly looks worth another chance on her debut on the Polytrack today, getting the vote ahead of Crete and Optimus. The last mentioned was good value for his win over course and distance earlier this month but a 5lb rise for that success leaves him with more to do so he may be booked for a place at best. Risque Heights has yet to prove that he stays this far, while Polish Power is another that looks a shade high in the weights. Peter Makin's First To Call is less exposed than most and has to be respected along with the William Haggas-trained Crete, who has been given a nice break since his reappearance success at Newbury. The vote though goes to Luca Cumani's Watchful.
