The three to look out for in the opener are Rood Report, Joyryder and Quarrymount with the vote going to the last named. The selection has run well on numerous occasions without getting his head in front but managed to break his maiden tag over hurdles in fine fashion last time out at Fontwell. He was more than capable on the flat for Sir Mark Prescott and even with his penalty this afternoon he is the one to have on the short list. Rood Report will pose as the biggest danger to the selection. Coming from a yard in form he landed a novice event at Bangor in August but failed to win with a penalty here over two miles. With this step up in trip he looks interesting and is worth noting. As is Joyryder who has had his problems in the past with injury but was good enough to win a Newbury bumper and was not discredited in his last hurdle race when second to Desperate Dex so is worth noting in the betting market. But for the winner we return to Quarrymount.
