Very Wise has a decent strike-rate on the all-weather and William Haggas' charge gets the vote ahead of Capricorn Run and Waterside. A winner on his most recent start, the selection should give another good account as he has proven himself at the track before. He has a good draw and whilst he has risen up the weights, this progressive gelding has to be high on anyone's shortlist. Troubador won well over course and distance when last seen and he may have more to give despite a rise in the weights, whereas Evens And Odds still looks high enough for what he has actually achieved. Waterside is ultra-consistent and should once again run his usual game race but he tends to find at least one too good, whilst Party Boss and Babodana are edging down the weights and should be competitive fairly soon. Capricorn Run is is top form having recorded back to back victories at the track over seven furlongs and if he handles the extra furlong today (disappointed only two times previously) then a big run can be expected. All in all this again looks competitive, and we will take Very Wise to come out on top again.
