A mile and a half amateur riders handicap is not an easy race to finish with, but we have narrowed it doen to Platinum Charmer, Typhoon Tilly and Resonate, with the first named getting our vote. Karl Burke's gelding has been a great servant to the yard and landed his tenth victory in great style when beating Millagros at Musselburgh earlier this month. He could still be ahead of the handicapper and looks the one to be on. Typhoon Tilly was successful at Redcar last time and has gone well here in the past, it is difficult to see this one out of the frame. Meanwhile Resonate contested a much better race than this at Yarmouth last time, finishing just a length behind Clueless, if translating that form to the all-weather he should be in the shake up. The pick of the others could be Bid For Fame, but Platinum Charmer may not be in the assessor's grip yet and can land back to back victories.
