Material Witness is taken to get the better of Obezyana and Binanti in this wide open handicap. The selection was a little disappointing on the turf at Newmarket last time but he had put up a cracking effort previously over this course and distance when finishing second behind Desert Dreamer, and with Keiren Fallon booked for the ride today he should take plenty of beating. Obezyana won well in a maiden last time but he does have more on his plate in this company. He could be interesting as he will get maximum assistance from his pilot Eddie Ahern who rides this track as well as anyone. Binanti does go well here and he ran with credit at Goodwood last time. He could be capable of taking some place money, as could Hurricane Coast who has a fair strike-rate on the all-weather. However, for the winner we are happy to stick with Material Witness.
