      Verdict

A poor race where Nuzzle is given a very tentative nod to finally gain a deserved first victory of her career. Duescals,Golano and the admirably tough Mademoiselle Jones will not make life easy for Mick Quinn's charge though and the sensible option has to be for an each way punt on the three-year-old. However, as getting a price on Duescals, a Danzig filly from the John Gosden yard with Frankie Dettori aboard, will be nearly impossible if she is expected to strike. Off-course punters will do well to get a return out of a race full of horses that have so far been a little disappointing for one reason or another. Therefore, as Nuzzle is likely to be overlooked in the market, she can blaze a trail and at least hold on for a place when Dettori gets going on his mount.
