Gay Kelleway, who has just struck up a deal with Arena Leisure to help expand upon her strike-rate on the all weather, looks to have a good chance of making an early start with Labrett, whose consistency gives him the nod over JR Stevenson, Mallard and Stateroom. The Ben Hanbury-trained Free Option is another that makes a bit of appeal as an outsider for an each way punt and he is one to monitor in the betting. However, Labrett is the one to follow for win only purposes as he arrives here on the back of some solid efforts in defeat. The six-year-old is adaptable with regard to his best trip and has given his connections plenty of fun at a variety of distances. He also goes well at this course and from a mark of just 72, would not need to be at his best to strike for his in-form yard.
