      Verdict

      Norisan, Deadshot Keen and Johannesburg Jack are the three to concentrate on and our vote goes to Norisan. Richard Hannon's horse received a tremendous form boost with Halicarnassus' victory in the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket and if he acts on the surface, he is the one that they all have to beat. Deadshot Keen was not beaten far in a decent race at Newbury on his latest start. He does not appear an obvious candidate to take honours over the trip but he does hail from a shrewd yard. Johannesburg Jack would need to step up on a recent victory at Brighton in order to be competitive here. He shapes as if a step up in trip would suit and the market is watched. Fuji idled badly on debut but was still too good for his rivals at Folkestone. The Michael Bell team have had a few patchy results in recent weeks so caution is advised. Bobbish has plenty to do on the book while Orange Pekoe could need more time. A decent race in prospect and Norisan is chanced on this occasion.
