The market should offer most clues in this maiden and of the more likier sorts appear to be Show Trial, What a Treasure and Diamond Light and we shall stick with the first named. The half-sister to Holborn should be precocious enough on breeding to make her mark first time out and with Mick Channon's team in relatively decent form, she does seem the more obvious pick of our trio. What A Treasure is a half-sister to Zhitomir. Bred to get further, the market could well indicate if today is the day. Diamond Light has the edge of experience. Six furlongs does look to be her trip but her effort at Newbury was disappointing given that she had a perfect draw. Proud was set a tough assignment on debut behind Bridge It Jo. Easy to back, connections are unlikely to be rushing with her. Sahara Crystal is well related to a number of middle distance performers and should come on for the run. Tiger Tango was not a particularly expensive purchase although there is plenty of early pace in the pedigree. In a trappy affair, Show Trial is the selection.
