    Verdict

Prince Picasso appears ahead of the handicapper and it is difficult to oppose him in this race although Truly Faithful and Decree Nisi look to hold obvious claims. The gelding did run a little green at Brighton on Sunday but he never looked in any serious danger and Sir Mark Prescott turns him out quickly under a penalty. Truly Faithful was disqualified at Pontefract has not gone up for that non-success just yet. The stewards were right to disqualify on that occasion and connections attempt to glean compensation here. Decree Nisi is likely to be held up from off the pace and should be followed in the event of any market confidence. Sky High Guy has proved disappointing after early glimpses of form. High Seasons has made a habit of taking a keen hold in his races and will need to settle before the winners enclosure will be revisited. No getting away from the claims of Prince Picasso and he is a confident recommendation.
