Verdict
Advancement, Turn Me On and Desert Flair make the short list, with the vote going to the first-named horse. Advancement's second to River Kirov at Redcar on his debut reads very well in the context of this race and he can go well. Turn Me On showed good promise oin each start last season and, if in the same sort of form, looks a big player today. Desert Flair's form rates in the mid-70s, which should see her involved, while McNairobi ran well here on Turf on her debut when denied a clear run, so she gets a favourable mention too. Finally, Meadowfloss is related to a number of winners and rates as an interesting newcomer, but the vote stays with Advancement.
