In depth

Verdict

This will not take a great deal of winning. Bajan Desert is improving but the form of his Redcar fourth is nothing out of the ordinary. Kieren Fallon is an interesting booking for Far Note. If he returned to the level of his two-year-old form when with with Barry Hills, this would be a walk in the park for him, but he has been very disappointing to say the least. He is fitted with sheepskin cheekpieces today. Pleinmont Point ran well in first-time blinkers last time and Jimmy Fortune might be able to galvanise a repeat effort from him. Siraj ought to be able to make a show at this level and is closely weighted with Tiffany's Quest on their Sandown runs in August (on soft going). Toledo Star is held by Charley Farley on Turf form. Bee One has bits of form but has looked wayward. Cahan is stepping back in trip after efforts over seven furlongs and a mile. Karminskey Park is another with bits of form but should find one or two too good for her. Coffee Time has yet to win a race but six furlongs could prove to be a better trip for her, certainly judged on the way she was staying on over five on her last run. She ought to play a big part here, handles the surface and is the TEAMtalk selection. Don't be surprised to see Far Note run well.
