A fair opener and BLACK N BREW is the pick with Amazing Tiger and You've Been Mowed others to make appeal. The drop down to seven furlongs seemed to bring about improvement from the gelding and at this half way house trip of a mile, we are confident he can run a sound race as he has shown aptitude on this surface previously. Amazing Tiger was a little below par at Epsom. He got plenty of weight for a convincing success at Musselburgh though the decision to come all the way here is interesting. You've Been Mowed won a weak contest at Brighton with some authority. Life will be tougher off a 4lb higher mark this afternoon. Al Sabaheya seems to be more consistent for the application of headgear. He dead-heated with our selection for third place at Folkestone when they last met. Penton Hook makes a belated reappearance. Trueblue Wizard can be forgiven for needing his first run back after seven months off and with William Muir having winners, it would be folly to dismiss him if the market speaks in his favour. Plenty of plausible winners and Black N Brew is the recommendation.
