FORMIDABLE GIRL is selected to see off Spennymoor and Apace. Kevin Ryan's filly has yet to see a racecourse but the fact she is entered for the Lowther Stakes at York could be very interesting indeed. As ever the market is watched but with big Newmarket yards also making entries, there is a likelihood of us obtaining a decent price. Spennymoor surprisingly has a little known apprentice aboard. A half-sister to Moss Vale; there is plenty of speed in that blood line and she should have come on for her Newmarket debut. Apace holds plenty of entries in the big sales races. Seven furlongs and further look to be the aim in the future. Freckenham has two placed efforts thus far at Brighton and Warwick. Red Oleander is bred for much further and will make plenty of interest next season. A decent maiden where there should be future winners to come but Formidable Girl will need to win this in order to justify a tilt at bigger prizes.
