In depth

Verdict

This could be the most competitive race on the card, over a mile and a quarter, with the selection being My Mentor, ahead of Barathea Dreams and Dushstorm. Sir Michael Stoute's My Mentor won in competitive company at Kempton over this distance, after being held up until a perfectly timed run brought reward. The colt seems to prefer a mile and a quarter to the mile and a half at which he's also tried. Barathea Dreams has performed well at a higher level than this, and should certainly be involved at the finish. He was a well beaten second last time out but this step back up should suit. And Dushstorm, a course and distance winner, and four time winner earlier in the year should also be respected, although he's been disappointing of late. But the pick of this bunch though is My Mentor.
