The shortlist for this handicap consists of Hoh Wotanite, Some Diva and Young Bertie, with the vote going to the first-named horse. Hoh Wotanite has knocked at the door in three of his last four starts and, well-drawn and with proven ability at today's venue, today might be the day that it opens over a trip he is trying for the first time. Some Diva has run well on pretty well all starts, including on this surface and she looks fairly weighted and, accordingly, we are expecting a bold showing. Simpsons Ross has been given plenty of chances, but Young Bertie looks to have improved in his last two races, the form is fine in the context of this race and he is well drawn so is another to respect. Panic Stations is another that has been knocking at the door, but her wide draw is a concern. Sanctity showed improvement at Wolverhampton last time, but is another to be drawn wide, while Savannah Pride seems to have regressed from her selling win but Tuscany Queen looked to have improved when scoring in selling company last time and can show up well from her good draw. Overall, though, we will stick with Hoh Wotanite.
