We will shortlist Top Tier, Il Palio and La Quinta is this nursery and side with Top Tier. Top Tier comes here on a roll, graduating from selling level to win a Musselburgh handicap last time. She can still go well despite her penalty. Il Palio is pretty quick and his overall form warrants consideration at this level. La Quinta cost 150,000 guineas and seemed to be improving based on her latest effort, which is enough in a modest race to suggest that she cannot be dismissed from calculations. Peggy's Flower is another that comes here in good form, but those runs have come at selling and claiming level and this is a bit tougher. Whiskey Junction has yet to build on his early promise and has even been beaten as a favourite. However, if you are prepared to forgive his latest run, a poor one, then he could be considered. Of those lower down the weights, Shreddy Shrimpster has shown enough - and also looks to be improving - to be granted some thought although, strictly speaking based on earlier form, Autumn Storm just has the edge on her. Overall, though, once again we will stick with Top Tier.
