Although Eccentric has to concede weight all round, he has improved greatly this winter and is readily preferred over Skidmark, Dance On The Top and the frustrating Rafferty, who was no match for the selection over a mile here at the start of this month and makes limited appeal over ten furlongs. Dance On The Top also has a little to find with the top weight and looks held off his current all weather rating. He is much better treated on turf and his shrewd connections could easily find an opening for him if they persevere with him in the coming weeks. Skidmark has been highly tried on occasions and holds obvious claims at this level. However, he was a little life-less over course and distance last month and needs to post a much better effort today. However, Eccentric has really got his act together well at the moment and Andrew Reid's charge is fancied to exploit any weaknesses in the opposition today.
