Oro Verde is overdue a win and may get it here at the expense of Midmaar, Trotters Bottom and Rugged Jack. Oro Verde made all when scoring at Windsor in June but has failed to add to his tally since being upped from the minimum trip. He has some experience on the Polytrack though and that will stand him in good stead here. Midmaar, a winner in France on his last start, makes his British debut and could be anything. Will he take to the Polytrack though. Trotters Bottom was a maiden winner here in July but was tried too highly in Redcar's Two-Year-Old Trophy. Capable at this level though, he can play a part. Gerard Butler saddles two, Pass Go who makes his debut, and Ragged Jack who unseated last time. Neither make much appeal despite the trainer's impressive record here and a bigger threat may be Rise, a nursery winner here in August. All in all, the safest option is to side with Oro Verde.
