Boxgrove is taken to prevail here, with Bienvenue and newcomer Separated just two live dangers in this juvenile event. Most of these have lots of scope, so only a modest vote goes to Boxgrove who shaped well enough on his debut here when third to Ascertain. The form looks nothing special, but he can only improve. Bienvenue is one of two Marcus Tregoning inmates on view, the other being Okoboji. However, Bienvenue makes more appeal based on her two efforts on the course so far. She was well backed in the morning prior to her third behind Messe De Minuit and should again go well. Separated makes her debut in the colours of the Cheveley Park Stud and may have more scope than stablemate Secret Place, but in a race in which the market will prove the best guide no doubt, we return to Boxgrove as the selection to small stakes.
