Day By Day can land the finale at the expense of Lii Najma, Dasheena and Scarlet Oak. Day By Day ran a blinder at big odds at Kempton just over three weeks ago, leading to all bar the line in a class 5 handicap. She drops a rung down the ladder here and is now back among her own sex as well. She can dominate this from start to finish to open her account. Lii Najma is a lot more experienced, and showed signs of a return to form at Yarmouth last time. She is likely to take the selection on for the lead though, and will not find it easy giving weight away all round. Dasheena has more to do than when second in a Wolverhampton claimer, but has a lighter weight, while Scarlet Oak seems on the upgrade and is back up in trip. Day By Day can put a spell on her rivals to score.
